Football Manager 2015 - Discover all types of FM personalities
You already know that each player in the game has personality attributes like (mental section) but they have personality attributes hidden too! It's easy to understand, that this affects their productivity in game, and how they perform in Train Sessions and how they interact with us (Managers) and with the Media.
To determinate a Players Personality Description, FM14 joint personality attributes and Mental attributes. You can find this, on the Information Section of Player's Overview tab.
So we will post here all Players Personality, tips to Managers lead with different personality, Squad Personality and Attributes Personality.
There's a few ways to determinate Player's Personality, and as a good Manager your work is to pay attention to the SMALLEST detail and exploit it for your Player's own good and essencially your Squad General Mood be good.
So you must definitely pay attention to the characteristics of Players Personality in this situations:
- Observe how he reacts in different situations, when:
- You give a particular Team Talk.
- You talk to Players Private Chat.
- Comments on Media are about him and the mod how he reacts.
- You must currently overseeing Player's Happiness, as shown on his Information Screen.
- If necessary make notes section of a Player's History tab can help you keep track any clues.
Adaptability - How well the player will react to new situations. Ex: Like when a player moves country.
Ambition - How much a Player want to achieve Success. Ambition is very relation with potential, so players who have a lot of ambition will have more potencial.
Controversy - How outspoken a player will be in the Media. Controversial Players will attend to talk bad things about their Managers in Media.
Loyalty - How much a player loves the club and want to stay. The more loyalty the more difficult to buy that player.
Temperament - The way that the Player reacts in controversial situations. So this help you understand:
- Higher temperaments will judge more often your decision;
- Don't confuse high temperament with Low Professionalism;
Sportsmanship - The ethical percentage that the player will be in the field. This will affect for example the number of divings in a striker:
- Strikers with more sportsmanship will do less divings;
- Sportsmanship is as well relation with Trainning Sessions. You can achieve to make an harder trainning sessions to players with more Sportsmanship without they be upset, than players without any Sportsmanship.
Professionalism - How hard does the Player work on his job and how good is attitude is. So you can expect that Players with more professionalism will:
- Display a better attitude on the pitch;
- Attend to develop better;
- Have longer careers;
Pressure - We will not describe Pressure as Mourinho said, "Pressure? Pressure is to have children at home and don't have money to feed them!", no!
Pressure in Fm 2014 refers to how well the player react in challenging situations. So players with higher pressure will less likely feel the pressure of expectations.
- When a player is worried about something it may indicate that he has low Pressure Attributes!
It's important to undertsand that Fm 2014 divide the personality players in three different categories:
As you will see this can be very helpful to give the best team talks to your squad and learn the best ways to respond to the players needs!
Neutral Personalities
Balanced - A different personality that does not fit in none of the others descriptions.
Media Friendly - Player with low controversy. Attend to talk a lot wit Media.
Honest/ Fairly Sporting - This type of Player is known by very good Sportsmanship but low Determination. Strikers with this personality attend to score less goals per season
Devoted/Very Loyal/Fairly Loyal - Players with too much Loyalty but poor Ambition.
Normally players in lower divisons or in end of careers.
Level Headed - Players with balanced levels of Controversy, Loyalty, Professionalism, Sportsmanship and Temperament.
Jovial - Players with good Pressure, fair level of Temperament.
Realist - Very poor Sportsmanship and a normal level of Determination.
Negative Personalities:
Volatile - Player with poor Temperament. Be careful with this type of player!
Confrontational - Poor Sportsmanship and Temperament.
Temperamental - The Player has very poor Temperamente. Will react with anger as he deals with an controversial situation.
Short Tempered - Player has high Controversy and poor Temperament.
Outspoken - Player with high Controversy.
Casual - Very poor Professionalism and poor Determination.
Slack - No Professionalism and poor Determination.
Spineless - The player has no pressure and poor Determination.
Model Citizen - The player has very good ambition, determination, loyalty, pressure, professionalism, sportsmanship and Temperament.
Perfectionist - Very good Ambition, determination and professionalism but poor temperament.
Resolut - Very good professionalism and determination
Model Professional/Professional/Fairly Professional - very good professionalism and fair level of Temperament.
Born Leader - Top Leadership and Determination.
Resilient - Very good Pressure and good Determination.
Iron Willed - Top Pressure and good determination
Resilient - Very good Pressure and good Determination
Unflappable - Good Pressure and good Determination
Charismatic Leader - Very good Leadership, Sportsmanship and Temperament.
